Six week parent group program

(Age of child: approx. 10 months - 2.5 years)

Includes:

• 3 x fortnightly group information sessions (1.5 hours)

• 3 x alternate fortnight Q & A sessions (30min, optional)

Information Sessions Overview:

• Understand language development

• Teach language and make it stick

• Emotional development and how to use language to reduce your child’s frustration

• Tips to strengthen attention for learning

• Play and activity ideas to boost your child’s communication

• Plus heaps more!

You will learn effective strategies and activities to use across your day to strengthen your child’s communication. You also get clear, evidence based information that help’s you support your child’s development for many years to come.

This program suits all families whether your child is meeting their milestones or has delayed language. Each strategy can be turned up or down depending on your child’s level of communication. As this is a group setting you get to learn how to do this through discussions with Claire and from other parent’s experiences.

Talk & Connect - Comprehensive

This program aims at providing additional, alternative and more in-depth strategies and activities to build children’s communication skills.

Includes:

• 3 x fortnightly face to face group information sessions (2 hours)

• 3 x alternate fortnight video group Q & A sessions (30 minutes - 1 hour)

• Handouts for the face to face information session
